Tangerang Old Town area or commonly called Chinatown area is an area strategically located in Sukasari Village and Sukarasa Village, Tangerang District. In addition, the Old City is also referred to as a heritage area because it has activities or functions that are dominated by cultural heritage buildings and surrounding residential areas that still maintain typical Chinese architecture.

Local culture and traditions influenced by ethnic Chinese are still preserved to this day. As a city inhabited by multi-ethnic residents, the Old Town area has many buildings that are rich in historical values. So that it has the potential to be further developed and promoted as an attraction for city tourism destinations. The Serang Archaeological Heritage Preservation Center (BP3S) on August 25, 2011 has determined the cultural heritage contained in the Tangerang Old Town Area, including the Boen Tek Bio Temple and the Benteng Heritage Museum. In addition to cultural heritage, in the Tangerang Old City Center Area there is an Old Market. The Old Market is an area that is famous for its culinary tourism.
